The Mt Willard Trail enters the woods at the height of land in Crawford Notch. The trail begins at a very low angle but slowly increases to a moderate and steady grade. Unlike Mt. Washington or Tuckerman Ravine, this trail is quite mellow and offers sure footing with every step. No rock-hopping here. We will ascend 900 vertical feet in 1.6 miles.
