The time is almost here, folks. In ten days time, a group of hikers who really love and support the White Mountains will gather to make three extra special excursions: Mount Willard, Tuckerman Ravine, and Mount Washington. As we move closer to August 19th we wanted to give some special recognition to a couple sponsors who, much like our hiking participants, have gone the extra mile and expressed their support for the White Mountain National Forest and all it has to offer.
This is an extra big “thank you” to Senior Hiker Magazine and 60Tree Company. These are two sponsors that, though different in purpose and appearance, are all too similar in land ethic. Both companies feel that exploration and appreciation for natural places is a universal, timeless endeavor that should be embraced by all. Both look beyond the bottom line and understand the universal importance of coupling land stewardship with outdoor recreation.
Below, find a brief description of each company. The Sum.it team truly hopes that when considering your lifestyle apparel and thoughtful outdoor reading needs, you will look to these two companies that are true land stewardship role models in their respective industries.
60Tree Co. is a lifestyle brand that celebrates its New Hampshire roots, and wants to encourage people to go out and explore. Started in 2015 by two high school students, 60Tree Co. offers a range of exclusive shirts, hats and accessories.
